How do you add it to a Flash document 4 What is a projector file Review Answers 1 To ensure your movie plays as expected in web browsers, upload the Flash SWF file, the HTML document that inserts the Flash content into a browser window, and the JavaScript file named AC_RunActiveContent.js, which lets your SWF file play automatically in most current web browsers. You also need to upload any files your SWF file links to, such as video or image files, and be sure that they are in the appropriate folders (usually the same folder as the final SWF file). 2 Select Detect Flash Version in the HTML panel of the Publish Settings dialog box to automatically detect the version of Flash Player on a viewer's computer. Some Flash features require specific versions of Flash Player to play as expected. 3 Metadata is information about data. Metadata includes a document's title, a description, keywords, the date the file was created, and any other information about the document itself. Metadata in a Flash document is published in the HTML document that accompanies the SWF file, making it easier for people to search for your movie. To add metadata to a Flash document, choose Modify > Document, and enter a title and description, which may include keywords. 4 A projector includes all the files necessary to play the movie without any additional applications, so people who don't have Flash Player, or who don't have the current version, can view your movie.   Appendix A. Hexadecimal Color Codes Throughout the book, we've referred to colors by their hexadecimal values, which are commonly used in HTML and other web programming. Using a hexadecimal value enables you to be very precise about the color you're using, rather than referring to it as "blue" or "green." Hexadecimal values are especially useful when you're using the Adobe Color Picker or other tools that don't list color names. This chart shows 216 standard web colors and their hexadecimal color codes, as well as the RGB (red, green, and blue) values that combine to create the color. Use this as a reference to select colors, but consider it a starting point. There are many more colors available. Search the web for "hexadecimal color codes" to find a variety of tools to help you select colors and find their corresponding hexadecimal codes.
